Dr. Kholaki attended California Polytechnic Institute, Pomona, for his undergraduate studies in biology. He then attended the Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry of USC where he earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree. He then went on to obtain his Medical Degree (MD) at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas, Texas.

During his 6-year combined residency program, Dr. Kholaki received training in complex cases. His clinic interests include dental implant rehabilitation, maxillofacial trauma and reconstruction, the management of oral pathology, treatment of temporomandibular joint (TMJ) dysfunction, and orthognathic surgery.

Outside of work, Dr. Kholaki is an avid snowboarder and enjoys planning trips to the local mountains on long weekends. In addition, he is a steak enthusiast and enjoys grilling for his family. Some of his favorite countries he has traveled to include Turkey, Spain, Mexico and the UK.
About Dr. Kholaki
Dr. Kholaki is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, a fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS), and a clinical faculty member of the Division of Otolaryngology at Cedars Sinai Medical Center. Dr. Kholaki was born and raised in La Crescenta, California. He completed the dental program at the Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry of USC, graduating at the top of his class. During his time at USC, Dr. Kholaki served as class president and was the recipient of multiple awards for leadership and academic achievement.
He then went on to receive his medical degree from the University of Texas Southwestern, a top ranked medical school. He remained in Dallas where he completed an internship in general surgery and had extensive training in both adult and pediatric anesthesia. During his 6-year combined residency program, Dr. Kholaki received extensive training ranging from complex dental implant surgery, facial trauma and reconstruction, temporomandibular joint (TMJ) disorders, and orthognathic surgery. He is board-certified in oral and maxillofacial surgery.
Following graduation, Dr. Kholaki and his wife brought their young family home to Southern California. Outside of work, Dr. Kholaki enjoys spending time with his wife and son. He loves being outdoors and rooting for the Dodgers and Lakers!
